HISTORY

TIMGAD Voyages was founded in 1981 in
Timgad by Mr. MENACEUR Cherif, the general manager.
|
|
|
|
1981 : Settling in Timgad. The agency
was offering ticket services, tour of Timgad,
visit of Timgad's tourist sites.
|
|
|
|
1982-1994 : Settling in the district of
Wilaya (department) of Batna which is the 4th
city in Algeria (according to the last population
census).
|
|
|
|
Since then, the agency has specialized in department
tourism of countries of the European Community
such as France, Germany, Spain, Benelux...
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1994-1998 : Because of a security problem that Algeria
has been through at that time (terrorism) the tourism sector
has known a crash and our activity has been through a decline.
|
|
|
|
1998-today : The situation has become better and better.
The agency realizes a galloping increase (positive) of groups
visiting our country and more importantly countries from the
European Union. We assure our tourists all the security warranties.

From 2006 : The demand has grown 20%.

We have our own air service and we organize trips to Turkey
from the airport of Mostefa BenBoulaid (Batna) to Istanbul
since March 24, 2001. The frequency is once a week by charter
flight.

We are partners with many foreign Tour Operators in France,
Spain, China, Dubai, Syria, Tunisia, South Africa...
|
|
|
|
We also organize shows and fairs in Europe for societies,
enterprises and Algerian professionals.

We have set ourselves as a perspective the Tourism
Development in Algeria. With the collaboration of our foreign
Partners, we want to launch many new products such as Scuba
Diving, Tourist Hunting, Motorcycle and Bicycle Tours of Algeria

Since 2002 : General Agent of the Algerian Pharmacists
National Union (SNAPO).

From 2002-today : Vice-president of the Travel Agencies
National Union (SNAV-Algeria). Vice-president of the Chamber
of Commerce Batna - Investments Section.

Our personnel are multidisciplinary. It is composed of licensed
engineers and technicians. Our employees are trained in the
tourist and commercial fields among its experience.
